Rush Sigma Nu
What is Rush?
"Rush" is a week when prospective members visit individual fraternities and learn about the various oppurtunities each organization offers. At Sigma Nu, participation is free with no obligation to join.
Requirements to Rush Sigma Nu
Requirements include:
- Must be a student attending McKendree College
- Students must maintain a grade point average of at least 2.5
- Must not be a member of any other fraternity
I'm interested in rushing Sigma Nu, what now?
We are happy to hear that you are interested in rushing the Mu Sigma Chapter of Sigma Nu. You can contact our rush chair and he will provide a schedule of rush events.
I'm worried about being hazed...
Sigma Nu stands firm against hazing. As opposition to hazing was one of the reasons we came into existence, we do not tolerate any form of hazing. Sigma Nu has a strong commitment to this standard and individual chapters can be suspended or revoked if hazing occurs. Hence, you can join Sigma Nu knowing that you will find a strong bond with current members without any form of hazing.
